Emergency Business Support Fund
This Emergency Fund is designed to support small businesses experiencing extraordinary hardship as a result of recent ICE activity, with a particular focus on Operation Metro Surge beginning December 15, 2025, and its direct impact on business operations across Minnesota.
Business Eligibility:
- Must be currently operating in the City of Northfield.
- Must have annual gross sales of less than $3 million.
- Must be in good standing with local and state requirements.
- Must be willing to provide basic business and financial information showing financial hardship related to Operation Metro Surge, such as loss of revenue or business disruption.
Confidentiality Notice:
All information shared through this application will be kept strictly confidential and used solely for the purpose of evaluating eligibility and administering this Emergency Fund. Information will not be shared outside the review process except as required by law.

No documentation is required to submit this application.
If your business is selected to move forward in the review process, you will be contacted and asked to provide additional documentation, as applicable.
Please be prepared to submit the requested documents within three (3) business days of being contacted.

(**) If you do not have the requested profit and loss statement, please submit your sales reports or POS for the following months: December 2024, January 2025, December 2025, and January 2026; and Bank Statements: December 2025 and January 2026.
